The Ontario Council of Camera Clubs (O3C) has officially announced the 2026 Open Challenge. This annual event brings together photographers from about 40 camera clubs across Ontario to showcase their best work. If you are a member of the Oakville Camera Club, this is your chance to shine by submitting your finest images. Here’s everything you need to know to prepare your submission and meet the firm deadline.
What is the O3C Open Challenge?
The O3C Open Challenge is a yearly photography competition sponsored by the Ontario Council of Camera Clubs. It invites members from all affiliated clubs to submit images across multiple categories. The event celebrates creativity, technical skill, and diverse photographic styles. Each year, images are reviewed by a panel of accredited judges who select award winners. These awards recognize individual excellence as well as the collective strength of camera clubs based on their members’ scores.
Last year, Oakville Camera Club member Jackie Gladman earned an award, proving that our club’s talent stands out. This year, your work could be next in the spotlight.
