The arrival of spring brings a unique kind of magic to our local landscape, and this year, our camera club was ready to capture it. Recently, a group of 16 enthusiastic photographers headed down to a local ravine for a hands-on mentoring outing focused on learning and perfecting their macro photography. Our primary mission? To document the stunning emergence of the white trillium, Ontario’s iconic spring flower, along with the various flora and fauna waking up for the season.

Explorations events are held several times a year via Webex. Each event has a description outlining the concept — your job is simply to get out and shoot, then choose three of your best images to submit.
