Presentation Title: The Life of Concert Photography – A Behind the Scenes Discussion on Capturing Images and the Industry

Description: Spend the evening discovering some of the secrets to Concert and Live music photography.  In the first half we discuss tips with your camera settings, preparing for a show, obtaining passes, getting hired by venues, promoters and artists.  Also discover what Concert photographers do to prepare for a show, equipment we use, types of shots we look to capture, the overall stories we look to achieve through stills in order to connect to the fan. In the second part of this presentation, we look at some of my favourite images captured, discuss what can make an image strong and powerful and open the floor to questions.
