About the event
We can meet at Oakville Soccer Club 1520 Pine Glen Rd, Oakville, ON L6M 4P4, across from FRESHCO leaving at 9:15 am and possibly carpool to Maclean's Auto or we will meet outside Maclean's Auto entrance at 10:00 am.
McLean’s is an active auto wrecker with a unique collection of vehicles. This location isn’t abandoned but the cars here appear as though they are. The property has an estimated 2500 vehicles including 50’s ice cream and milk trucks, military vehicles, commercial trucks, school busses, and cars ranging from the 1940’s to the present day. The cars are arranged in rows in four farmer fields with some being in the woods, and others in the swamp.
Trees and other vegetation can be seen growing in and out of the cars. The vehicles are rusty and broken, yet, they provide a wonderful photo opportunity.
