Mentoring in the Park: Learning to Work a Shot and See

This will be a hands on on mentoring session on learning how to "work a shot" and "how to see better", to create more compelling images.

Everyone and their uncle has taken snapshots of the Oakville lighthouse and pier at Lakeside Park. But few of these photos are memorable or particularly interesting. We are going to change this by learning how to see better and working the shot.

The participants will meet by the the pier at Lakeside Park where Jared will give a short introductory presentation on these techniques. The group will then explore the theme using their cameras and their minds.

When the shooting is done the group will adjourn to local coffee shop or restaurant for coffee or lunch, and share with each others our prized images.
