About the event
The 2026 Open Challenge sponsored by Ontario Council of Camera Clubs (O3C) has now been announced. Please find attached below all the information you need for submitting images including the Challenge Rules. Your final submission (images and individual entry form) MUST be submitted to [email protected] by April 20, 2026 at 11:55 pm (FIRM DEADLINE). You will be advised at a later date about the required fee submission, which last year was covered by Oakville Camera Club.
The O3C Challenge is a prestigious annual event in which members of the approx. 40 Ontario camera clubs making up O3C submit their finest photographic works. All images are judged by group of accredited O3C judges and various award winner are chosen for recognition at the Open Challenge Presentation Day in the fall.
