About the event
Can we define photography as an art? Yes, photography is absolutely considered an art. It involves creativity, composition, and an eye for detail, just like painting or sculpture. While anyone can take a photo, artistic photography requires skill in lighting, framing, and storytelling to evoke emotions and convey meaning. Many famous photographers, such as Ansel Adams and Annie Leibovitz, have demonstrated how photography can be used as a powerful artistic medium. Every photographer sees the world differently. Two people can photograph the same scene, yet their images may feel entirely distinct—one might emphasize details that evoke nostalgia, while another might focus on dramatic contrasts to create a sense of tension. This shows how photography is deeply personal, shaped by experiences, memories, and emotions. That’s what we want to explore in this presentation.
